SPECIAL EDITION
Our 18th Annual Community Association Seminar Recap Thanks to all of you who attended our Community Association Seminar (and especially to management company owners who allowed so many managers to attend and to those who traveled from throughout the state to be with us. We had a new venue at the San Ramon Marriott, and everyone found us. We appreciate the many kind words and suggestions for future programs received from those who attended.
As Steve Weil said in his welcoming remarks, if we think of the foreclosure crisis as the "pebble in a pond," our program focused not on the fact of the pebble but on the resulting ripples that have so dramatically impacted community associations this year.
The articles, forms and presentations we included in our seminar book are available online until the end of the year and can easily be accessed at the links below or on our website: www.berding-weil.com. If you were not able to attend the seminar, these materials should give you a lot of that information.
For the last few years, Tyler Berding has been compiling statistics to help better understand and describe the dynamic story of California's common interest developments. Tyler's Blog frequently addresses trends we observe based on our practice and the information he collects from owners, directors, managers and others who work with association's; We'd be grateful if you would contribute to that effort by filling out and returning our short survey form below.
Our Website, E-Alert, Blog and the Seminar are the newest signs of our evolving practice and efforts to keep our clients, directors and managers informed of legal and practical considerations essential for all CID operations.
To help us stay informed of your interests and concerns, you will soon receive an electronic survey. We welcome your input and suggestions on our seminar and website and look forward to continuing to work with you this coming year.
