Scott W. Barton is a litigation principal in Berding & Weil's East Bay office. He brings to the firm twelve years of experience as a trial attorney. He has been awarded an "AV" rating by Martindale Hubbell.

Mr. Barton has represented a wide range of clients in cases involving highly complex technical and legal issues. The scopes of these matters include construction defects, real estate and contracts.

In recent years, Mr. Barton's practice has focused on the representation of property owners in large scale construction defect litigation throughout California and Nevada. This representation includes advising clients on ancillary issues involving post-litigation reconstruction, contracts and disclosure requirements.
