Randy Paul is a litigation principal and member of the Executive Committee of Berding & Weil. He brings to the firm thirty years of experience as a trial attorney. He has been awarded an "av" rating by Martindale Hubbell. It is their highest rating. He has been named Northern California SuperLawyer for 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 and 2008. For 2009 he has been selected as one of two Berding|Weil partners named as one of the top Construction Litigation SuperLawyers in California. In addition, Randy has been inducted as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization which recognizes those who actually try cases to verdict.
Mr. Paul has represented a wide range of clients in cases involving highly complex technical and legal issues. The scope of these matters includes professional liability, construction defects, real estate, toxic liability and class actions. In recent years, Mr. Paul's practice has focused on the representation of property owners in large scale construction defect litigation throughout California and other states. He is one of the few attorneys who has tried construction defect cases to jury verdict, giving him a unique perspective from which to evaluate a client's case. Mr. Paul also takes pride in advising clients on ancillary issues involving post-litigation reconstruction, governmental approvals, contract administration and disclosure requirements.
