Lucas Olona joined Berding & Weil LLP in 2009. Mr. Olona represents individual homeowners, common interest developments and commercial real estate owners in complex construction defect and class action lawsuits.

Prior to joining Berding & Weil LLP, Mr. Olona practiced in Oakland, California, focusing on insurance coverage and litigation, primarily related to construction defect litigation. Mr. Olona has represented insurance carriers as well as subcontractors in all aspects of coverage and construction defect litigation. Mr. Olona has appeared and argued in state courts throughout Northern and Southern California.

Mr. Olona received his J.D. from the University of Oregon, Knight School of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation. He received his B.A. from Washington State University in 2000, where he was a four-year member of the men's rowing team and an English major.
