Kristina L. Olson

Kris Olson joined Berding & Weil in 2010. She practices in the corporate and business law department. Ms. Olson advises community associations in all aspects of their day-to-day operations and transactional matters. Her work includes advising clients on real property law including title and land use matters; compliance with the Davis-Stirling Act; corporate compliance; fiduciary obligations; governing document interpretation and enforcement; drafting and implementation of community operating rules and policies; contract drafting, negotiation and enforcement including commercial leases and management contracts; financial matters including assessment collection; insurance matters; and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Berding & Weil, Ms. Olson was an associate in the corporate and project finance departments of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in Los Angeles where she advised clients on secured lending, securities, M&A, venture capital and private equity transactions; bankruptcies and restructurings; and corporate governance.
Ms. Olson received her Juris Doctor in 2005 from the UCLA School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University where she majored in International Relations.
Ms. Olson is a member of the State Bar of California.
