Kristina S. Kelchner

Kristina Kelchner joined Berding & Weil in 2009. She practices in the corporate and business law department, specializing in real property and common interest development law.
Prior to joining Berding & Weil, Ms. Kelchner practiced in the San Francisco law firms of Cox, Castle and Nicholson, and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where she counseled property owners, business owners and municipalities on environmental and land use matters, including environmental risk management strategies, cost recovery and insurance coverage litigation, transactional due diligence and negotiations, the regulatory processes involved in site evaluation and remediation, and administrative enforcement proceedings involving air, water, and natural resources.
Kristina Kelchner received her Juris Doctor in 1996 from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she was an editor on the Oregon Law Review. After law school, Ms. Kelchner clerked for the San Francisco Superior Court. She received her Bachelor of Arts with High Honors from the James Madison School of Public Policy at Michigan State University.
Ms. Kelchner is a member of the State Bar of California and the Environmental Section of the State Bar. She is also a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and East Bay Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
