Gabriel Rothman joined Berding & Weil LLP in 2010. Mr. Rothman represents individual homeowners, common interest developments and commercial real estate owners in complex construction defect and class action lawsuits.
Prior to joining Berding & Weil LLP, Mr. Rothman practiced in Oakland, California, focusing on litigation and insurance coverage , primarily related to construction defect litigation. Mr. Rothman has represented insurance carriers, developers and subcontractors in all aspects of construction defect litigation. Mr. Rothman and argued in state courts throughout California.
Mr. Rothman received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2007, where he participated in the UC Hastings Civil Justice Clinic and volunteered at the General Assistance Advocacy Project. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000, where he majored in American Literature, was an advertising executive for the UCLA Daily Bruin Newspaper and served on the Inter-Fraternity Council Judicial Board.
