Allison Andersen joined the litigation department of Berding & Weil in 2002.  Ms. Andersen represents common interest development associations, commercial real estate owners and individual homeowners in complex construction defect, shelf condominium, condominium conversion and related insurance coverage matters.  This representation includes advising clients on pre-litigation dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and formal litigation of waterproofing, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, fire protection, acoustical, landscaping, product defect and insurance coverage issues.  Ms. Andersen's common interest practice includes analysis of developer D.R.E. compliance, Davis-Stirling compliance, association funding and disclosures.  Ms. Andersen additionally assists common interest development associations in drafting and administering contracts for maintenance, repair and reconstruction of common area and separate interest property.

Ms. Andersen graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College in 1995 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis in 2002.
